Berry Fruit Salad

Serves: 6 Best served: Chilled Stores: Cover with a lid, up to 4 days in the fridge


A great fresh treat on a hot summer day. Bright and cheerful to start the day or a refresher in the afternoon


Ingredients

1lb strawberries, halved

1lb raspberries

1 lb blueberries

1lb blackberries

1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice


Optional

~ 1Tbsp of favorite sweetener

We prefer to use Turbinado sugar, maple syrup or warmed honey


Instructions
  1. Rinse the berries

  2. Cut the top off of the strawberries and then half them

  3. Place all the berries in a large serving bowl

  4. Squeeze the fresh lemon juice over the berries and add the sweetener if desired
